Happy Mama's Day
When I was only 8 weeks, I was abruptly taken from my biological mother and adopted by humans. My adoptive parents are great. I love them like they were my pug parents. In appreciation, I brought over to my mama my hedgehog toy as a gift to her. She didn't really seem to understand it was a present and just threw it. So I brought it back to her. This repeated a few times until I just gave up and started chewing it.

Banana-fana for Franna
I've come to recognize the words "banana", "nana", "B-A-N-A-N-A" and "Nanners" as all meaning one thing, and that's that yellowish fruit that I can earn merely for lying down and then twirling on my hind legs on command. I love everything about the banana: the way it peals and reveals itself slowly, the ripping sound of its skin and the scent that it releases. I love its texture and the taste is to die for. I used to question why I had teeth at all. I don't bite anyone, kibble is small enough I can just inhale it, and the teeth that I've been given seem to be worthless in putting a dent in my nyla bone. Bananas have made my teeth even more irrelevant. Regardless of the size of the chunk my parents give me, I've never needed to chew once!

Puppy Love
I have this budding relationship with my neighbor Isabelle. I walk past her window every time I enter or leave the house and she's always there. She follows me through every window barking at me. I don't speak shih tzu, but whatever she's saying, it turns me on. My parents tease me that she's my girlfriend, but I'm cool with it. I think my Romeo act as shown here is starting to pay off. I just hope that if things get serious, she'll be cool when I tell her I'm fixed.

Hike with Mama
Today, Mama took me on a walk at Runyan Canyon overlooking LA. That trail has more smells than Petco on a hot day. Just the right length of a hike too. I wasn't as lucky last summer. Dad took me rock climbing with him. It was too long and rocky. He had to carry me back and I didn't walk for 5 days. Today was perfect though, great weather and other dogs ranging in size from a chihuahua to a St. Bernard.
