Laundry Day!

My mama always asks me if I'd like to help. I'm not sure how I'm actually contributing but she thanks me anyways. Posted by Hello

Getting the Heisman

Isabelle's been playing hard to get. I saw her on my walk yesterday and she wouldn't let me sniff her butt or nothing! She's all defensive telling me that she's not that kind of girl. That's cool if she wants to take it slow. I like the chase. Posted by Hello

Envy

Dad has the big ol' 40G iPod. Mama has the cute iPod Mini. I got nothing. And to top it all off, Dad just got this shirt to rub it in my face that other pugs have iPugs and I don't. Posted by Hello

A/C

This is my new friend. Mom & Dad got it for me to keep me cool during the hot days. I'm glad they understand how puggies overheat. We're walking furnaces. Posted by Hello

Willy's Big Mouth

There's a really friendly English Bulldog in our neighborhood. Willy and I were running up to say hi when Willy decided to attack. While the Bulldog didn't even flinch, I sure did. Posted by Hello

The Big Three-Oh

Today was my 4 2/7 human birthday, or as I refer to it, my 30th birthday. Mama went and got me this new fluffy bed. It matches me and is real soft. Plus I haven't had any bed since my brother Kilborn decided to relieve himself on my old bed 2 weeks ago. Posted by Hello

Walking Waterfall

There's a danger in being party of the toy breed. When following my friend Willy, I have to watch out so as not to get showered. It's actually NOT a game of London Bridges. Posted by Hello

Ouch

I cut my paw a little today. No blood. More like a chapped lip. My mama held me while Dad put some neosporin on it.

Happy Mama's Day

When I was only 8 weeks, I was abruptly taken from my biological mother and adopted by humans. My adoptive parents are great. I love them like they were my pug parents. In appreciation, I brought over to my mama my hedgehog toy as a gift to her. She didn't really seem to understand it was a present and just threw it. So I brought it back to her. This repeated a few times until I just gave up and started chewing it. Posted by Hello

Napoleon Complex

I may be part of the toy breed, but that don't mean I can't hang with the big dogs. When someone's at the door, I let out my meanest bark cause peeps gotta know that I gots da skills of a guard pug. Just look at the fear in the eyes of Willy. He knows who's top dog in the hood. Posted by Hello

Banana-fana for Franna

I've come to recognize the words "banana", "nana", "B-A-N-A-N-A" and "Nanners" as all meaning one thing, and that's that yellowish fruit that I can earn merely for lying down and then twirling on my hind legs on command. I love everything about the banana: the way it peals and reveals itself slowly, the ripping sound of its skin and the scent that it releases. I love its texture and the taste is to die for. I used to question why I had teeth at all. I don't bite anyone, kibble is small enough I can just inhale it, and the teeth that I've been given seem to be worthless in putting a dent in my nyla bone. Bananas have made my teeth even more irrelevant. Regardless of the size of the chunk my parents give me, I've never needed to chew once! Posted by Hello

Puppy Love

I have this budding relationship with my neighbor Isabelle. I walk past her window every time I enter or leave the house and she's always there. She follows me through every window barking at me. I don't speak shih tzu, but whatever she's saying, it turns me on. My parents tease me that she's my girlfriend, but I'm cool with it. I think my Romeo act as shown here is starting to pay off. I just hope that if things get serious, she'll be cool when I tell her I'm fixed. Posted by Hello

Where's the Computer Literate Pug Population?

So since I started my blog a few weeks back I've been searching around the internet for other pug blogs. I've found none. Plenty of pug owner blogs but none from a pug's point of view. Am I the first? Posted by Hello

Hike with Mama

Today, Mama took me on a walk at Runyan Canyon overlooking LA. That trail has more smells than Petco on a hot day. Just the right length of a hike too. I wasn't as lucky last summer. Dad took me rock climbing with him. It was too long and rocky. He had to carry me back and I didn't walk for 5 days. Today was perfect though, great weather and other dogs ranging in size from a chihuahua to a St. Bernard. Posted by Hello
